Our Web Design Process
The following is the process that we use with every one of our web design clients. The subject matter changes from case to case and each build is unique, but by following this strict course we can provide each of our web design clients with world-class production and a high-performing website upon launch day. You will come to know each of these steps intimately during our work together, but you can get an idea of what to expect from the information below.
Many amateur web designers will try to run straight past this step so that they can jump right into the design phase, but we know the importance of gathering all of the information necessary to build an effective website that suits our clients’ needs, and reaches their target audience in a way that encourages conversions, user retention, and improved search engine rankings. Without a strong analytical phase, everything else is just guesswork.
We will start by analyzing the past performance of your existing site, pulling metrics from any reporting dashboards that you may have used like Google Analytics, traffic stats from your server or web host, and any other relevant data that can paint a comprehensive picture of your website. In addition, we will take a close look at your competitors and other industry leaders to get a sense of best practices that they are using that we can learn from, as well as your target audience’s online behavior when they are seeking out products and services like yours.
